Sexual Assault Surveillance System (SASS)
Focusing on the state of Michigan, the Sexual Assault Surveillance System is an ongoing systematic collection, analysis and interpretation of sexual assault data for use in planning, implementation, and evaluation of sexual assault policies.

Domestic Violence Information System Coordination
and Research Project (DISCAR)

The Domestic Violence Information System Coordination and Research Project will develop, implement, and evaluate information systems at the local level which can provide information on domestic violence incidents in Michigan.This system will support the Violence Against Women surveillance system currently under developement by the Michigan Department of Community Health.

Marquette Research for Justice and Violence Agencies (MR JAVA)
The primary goal of the Marquette Research for Justice and Violence Agencies program is to reduce domestic violence in Marquette County. The MSU research team will be entering this project in the third year of operation to help the Marquette violence agencies record the completion of the project and to bring it to final closure.

Public Policy and Evaluation of Services to Enable and Empower Kids (PPE-SEEK)
Project PPE-SEEK, now in it's eighth year, targets children who have a parent in state prisons in an attempt to break the intergenerational cycle of violence and crime. The project was designed to impact the risk and protective factors associated with delinquency and criminal behavior at both the individual and family level.

Program for Applied Demography and Ecology (PADE)
Through conducting research, the VIIPP team found a significant void in local and state
demography in Michigan Universities. The Program for Applied Demography and
Ecology
was created at Michigan State in an effort to meet the increased need for
demography.


Community Assessment Tool (CAT)
This Community Assessment Tool, or CAT, is designed to help you measure various aspects of violence in your community and make informed decisions.
