Michigan Department of Community Health The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) is one of 18 principal departments of state government. The department, the largest in state government, is responsible for health policy and management of the state's publicly-funded health service systems. Michigan Information Center The website maintained by the Michigan Information Center (MIC) is a valuable resource with demographic, economic, education, and geographic census data for the state of Michigan. Although MIC focuses primarily on Michigan data, it receives and archives census data for the region, other states, and the nation. Michigan Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence The mission of the Michigan Coalition Against Domeststic and Sexual Violence (MCADSV) is to develop and promote efforts aimed at the elimination of all domestic and sexual violence in Michigan. The member agencies of the MCADSV provide comprehensive emergency and support services to victims of domestic and sexual violence. These services include rape crisis intervention, emergency shelter, 24 hour hotlines, individual and group counseling, transportation, advocacy, and information and referral to emergency health care, legal and financial assistance, housing and child care to victims of domestic and sexual violence. |
